SBI SO Vacancy Notification 2019

According to the official sources, a total of 477 vacancies have been notified for various posts such as Developer, Server Administrator, IT Security Expert, Chief Cyber Security Manager, Network Engineer, UX Designer, etc. As you can see in the table below that all the posts are technical, so this is a wonderful opportunity for all the engineers (CSE/ IT/ ECE Branch) to get such a reputed position in SBI.

Important dates regarding the recruitment process about the application process and exam dates have been provided in the table below-

SBI SO 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

There are certain eligibility parameters for every competitive exam that are compulsory to be followed by every candidate. We have described all of those criteria mainly consisting of age limit and minimum qualification details-

Age Limit :

The age limit indicated here is applicable for the General category candidates only. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to reserved category candidates as per the Government norms.

Minimum Required Qualification :

SBI SO Selection Process:

For Post SL No. 1 to 24:

The selection on the posts from SL No. 1 to 24 will be based upon- 

• Online Written Test (150 Marks)
• Interview (25 Marks)

The online written test has been scheduled to be conducted on 20^th October 2019. For the next round of Interview, an adequate number of candidates will be called as per their performance in the written test. The qualifying marks in the Interview will be as decided by the Bank authorities. The final merit list will be prepared as per the aggregate marks of the online test and interview. Weightage of the score has been divided in the ratio 70% by 30%, for online test and interview respectively.

For Posts SL. No. 25 to 35:

The selection of candidates from Post SL No. 25 to 35 will be based on:

• Shortlisting
• Interview (100 Marks)

The Shortlisting Committee of the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, select the candidates for the interview. The qualifying marks for the interview will be decided by the Bank authorities. Final Merit list of selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in the interview only. 

Salary/ Pay Scale:

• For General/EWC/OBC Candidates: Rs. 750/-
• For SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 125/-

• Login to the website or register there, if you are a new user.
• Fill up the registration form and you will be allotted with a unique user id and password.
• Now, login to the website with the provided credentials.
• Fill up the application form.
• Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
• Now, pay the application fee via Net Banking/ Debit/ Credit Card or any other online payment mode.
• Keep the e-receipt of the fee for future reference.
• Preview the details filled and submit the form.
