Hello Candidates,

You would be pleased to know that the SSC has finally released the online applications for the Combined Graduation Level (CGL) Test for the session 2019-20. Interested and eligible candidates need to visit the official website of SSC as soon as possible-

SSC CGL Exam 2019-20

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that the SSC CGL Exam 2019 will be conducted in the upcoming months in order to fill up the vacancies available for Group B & C posts in various government ministries/organizations/departments. The number of vacancies will be declared in the due course of time. The detailed notification is out, you can check out the link given in the later sections of this blog. 

Interested candidates must ensure their eligibility and apply for the vacancies on the SSC website. For further details, you should read this article to the very end.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) in the respective disciplines from a recognized university/board/institute/college or equivalent.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected as per their performance in the following exams-

  • Tier-1 Online CBT (Objective Type)
  • Tier-2 Online CBT (Objective Type)
  • Tier-3 Exam (Descriptive Type/ Pen & Paper Mode)
  • Tier-4 (Skill Test/ Proficiency Test/ Document Verification)

Pay Scale:

The salary for both groups will be as follows:

  • For Group ‘B’: Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34800/-
  • For Group ‘C’: Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20200/-

Application Fee:

Application fee is the amount that you need to pay while filling up the application form. Without depositing the application fee amount, your application form will get canceled. The amount may vary from category to category, you can check out further details below-

How to Apply??

The online applications are available on the official web portal of SSC. The procedure of filling up the application form has been described below. You can easily submit your form with the help of it-

  • Firstly, you need to log on to the website ssc.nic.in.
  • If you are a new user then complete your registration first. 
  • Now, Log in to the online system through your Registration Number and password. 
  • Click on the "Apply‟ link in the "Combined Graduate Level Examination 2019‟ section under the "Latest Notifications‟ tab. 
  • Fill up the details very carefully. 
  • Click on the ‘I Agree’ checkbox in the declarations if you accept the same. 
  • Now, submit the application. 
  • Proceed to the fee payment step. 
  • Pay the fee amount via any of the prescribed modes of payment. 
  • Now, take the printout of the form and the fee-receipt.
